GHITA REMY Belgian, b. 1996

Ghita Remy was born in Florence, spent her early childhood in India, and now lives in Brussels. Coming from a family of Italian artists, she cannot escape her calling: creation is a true necessity.

A young visual artist, she graduated in 2020 with high honors from the École Saint-Luc for her work. She continued her studies at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts and received the City of Brussels Award for Excellence for her thesis on the myth of the toothed vagina in 2024.

Her works, characterized by precise and delicate craftsmanship, are imbued with the art history of her imagination and her sensitivity to the magic of nature. Her secret and intimate sculptures express the mysteries of femininity without taboos, blending attraction and repulsion, gentleness and violence; they enter the realm of a talismanic cabinet.

She won a competition for the Municipality of Ath, where she transformed a city street with her creations imbued with animal and plant life.
