Pascal Mouri

Pascal Mouri, born in Normandy, finds his inspiration in the contrasts of nature. Raised in a rural environment, he draws from the forest and its mysteries an inexhaustible source of creativity. After years of artistic exploration, he settles in southwestern France, where he discovers painting and exhibits for the first time in Montpellier, revealing an original and vibrant style inspired by portraits and landscapes that have marked him.

In Brussels, photography becomes his means of exploring the complexity of the urban landscape, but it is during his travels, notably in Portugal, that he is confronted with the devastation of forest fires. These ecological tragedies deeply affect him, feeding his reflection on the fragility of our environment.

In Marseille, he turns to sculpture, seeking to express the duality between destruction and regeneration. Inspired by coral reefs, witnesses of emerging life after catastrophe, he creates symbolic works evoking nature's resilience in the face of adversity.

His work, imbued with this tension between destruction and rebirth, invites deep contemplation and reflection on our relationship with the natural world and the environmental challenges we face. Pascal Mouri embodies the committed artist, seeking to raise awareness among his audience about ecological issues through his art.
